I went to PPLH Seloliman which located in Trawas, East Java (Indonesia). PPLH is abbreviation from Pusat Pendidikan Lingkungan Hidup (Environmental Education Center). here you'll study about how to protecting the environment, considering that we have to save our world. there are lots of plants, flowers, trees, and various medicinal plants and also rare plants. PPLH is a nice place, cozy, clean air, cool, very fun. I hope that Surabaya like this place (impossible, huh? nothing's impossible!)
PPLH-is-the-most-recommended-place. you have to be there!
PPLH's Purpose :
Promote the establishment of real concern for all levels of society, both individually and together to the surrounding environment so that the damage and environmental degradation caused by the activities of daily living can be reduced or even avoided, so that could be passed on to future generations.
apololibels with mrs. Susan, front of PPLH Seloliman.
my class divided into 2, group 9 and group 10. I'm in group 9 with mahda, andina, ica, ardanik, and the others who have absent number 1-15. our guide is mr. Sodiq (sorry if I didn't spell it correctly). he's funny enough and friendly. first, we have to walk outside the PPLH, some where. I didn't know where we're to going, until we arrive in the field(rice field). the scenery is super beautiful!
we were taught about PLTMH. PLTMH is Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Mikro Hidro (Micro-Hydro Power Plant). the PLTMH is very spacious, I mean not the PLTMH exactly but the the flow of river water, rivers, channels, reservoirs spread almost on the fringes around the paddy fields. I think you'll confuse, so I upload some picture:
| this is the power plant |
| this is our guide, mr. Sodiq. |
fyi, the water can be drunk! excited, isn't it?
so what are you waiting for? visit PPLH Seloliman and you'll never forget your day!
our beloved teacher :D
